just the highlights

So, it has been an eventful past few weeks. Unfortunately, I have been too physically and emotionally drained from my daily trek (over an hour each way) to HR hell. I have genuinely, really really been missing grad school, to give you all an idea of how I've been feeling and what this job is doing to me. Anyway, a few of my life's most recent highlights:

1. romantic daytrip to quaint seaside village with Paddy. very nice.

2. di's birthday last weekend. not only did her friends bring their baby and their married couply problems, but there were also a pair of snuffling, snoring dogs that kept us up at night. one of them even tried to spoon me and snuggled up near my and tried to share my pillow. needless to say, I was revolted.

3. Paddy accompanied me to the wedding of the family friends that i am staying with. i think my psuedo family really liked him...i think i could actually introduce him to my real family. I know... you are all thinking, wait, didn't you guys date for like a year before getting together again? Yes, but i like my privacy and was quite squirrelly about the whole thing. so, whatever. i don't think i have ever actually mentioned the fact that we dated to my mother. actually i am sure of it. i guess i'm wierd.
