so, um, everybody approves?

I was telling Di last night how wierd it is when your boyfriend's friends seem to approve of you completely. Like how his best friend pulled me aside at the bar to tell me how much happier and more relaxed Paddy seems and how great it was that we were back together again. Di reminded me of how his other roommate said similar things to her when we were dating the first time. One of his current roommates also said that she was "so happy that we found each other" when I told her that we were, in fact, seeing each other. When we were driving up to Davis, he asked me how I felt about going, and I told him it was a little wierd, since it was with the same people that we used to hang out with before (and he remained good friends with). He agreed, but reminded me that they all liked me anyway. Then he said that he was surprised that nobody gave him much shit about seeing me again. He said the general reaction was, "oh, cool." I would have expected some bad reaction, considering the way that our break up before drove him to drink at the G St. every single night for six months (or so I've heard).

Well, it is certainly better than having them hate you. Maybe this is a pointless entry, but, you know, people's diaries always go downhill when they are all in love and shit.
