i'm misunderstood.

So I've been all pissy because I don't think my boyfriend understands me. I don't know what I expect, when I don't really know why I've been doing what I've been doing. I've been working at this tech company as a receptionist, and they asked me again if I wanted to be put in the pool for taking this job permanently. I was iffy about it, because, you know, it sucks, so I hemmed and hawed, eventually telling them that I would consider it but I really wanted somehting more administrative, figuring that would get me out of it. So then she asked me if I wanted to be her HR assistant for a few months, if the department manager didn't choose me for the job. I said ok. Now, you all remember how I felt about HR at the last place I helped out at, but I think here it won't be quite as bad because I like the lady and it is a fairly quiet place. Besides, I really want to pay off my credit card bill, and if I am going to apply for grad school, I need a more steady job to pay for the applications. And I can do just about anything for a few months. I told him about my plan, he sounded very skeptical, saying how I hated HR, so I was annoyed Then I told him I was going to try grad school again, his response was "grad school's not a career" and said, "you know, you may want to study for the GRE this time." I was offended. If I wasn't going to study, I would have just sent them my old scores and not taken it again. Then he says, "oh, I think it is great," which doesn't seem true. So, I'm even more annoyed. What can I say--I'm so misunderstood.
